Privacy policy
This policy applies to the public website of THE APP FORGE at https://theappforge.app and related pages on this host. It is written for people who visit the site, contact us, or are pointed here during Meta Business verification or App Review.

What this website collects
This is a public marketing site. It has no login, no account creation, and no payment forms. We do not run third-party advertising pixels on these pages.
If you open the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard request logs — for example IP address, user agent, requested URL, and timestamps — to operate, secure and debug the Worker. Those logs are processed as needed to run the site, not to build a marketing profile.
If you email or phone us, we will have the details you send (name, email address, phone number, and the content of the message) so we can reply.
Products and customer data
Forge products may process personal information when a business customer uses them. That processing is between THE APP FORGE and that customer, under the product terms and any data-processing terms agreed then. This website does not host those product databases.
Lawful basis
We handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) and, where a Meta product review or similar process requires it, the stated purpose of that review. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the request and any related legal or accounting duty. Hosting logs follow Cloudflare's standard retention for Workers.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Use the data deletion page or email wesseldavel1@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page. Last updated 3 September 2026.
